What is Submeet and what role does it play?+
Submeet is a social-promotion association and an experienced partner connecting educational organisations, local actors and European networks. We provide guidance, co-design and support for mobility, training, internationalisation and cooperation pathways, beginning with real needs and expected outcomes.
Is Submeet a support agency?+
No. Submeet is not an agency offering standard mobility packages or predefined services.
It is a locally rooted promoter of European projects and internationalisation, connecting educational organisations, institutions, businesses and European partners to develop learning experiences, partnerships and cooperation initiatives aligned with genuine needs and objectives.
We begin with the organisation’s needs and the outcomes it wants to achieve. From there, we develop the most appropriate pathway through Educational Design, strategic guidance, partnership development and European cooperation.
Where necessary, we also facilitate access to operational services—such as accommodation, transport or other local services—provided by independent operators. These services support the project, but they do not define Submeet’s role.
Our purpose is not simply to deliver a mobility activity, but to help transform European opportunities into lasting learning, relationships and organisational capacity.
Do schools pay Submeet for the support they receive?+
No. Submeet does not derive its income from Erasmus+ or European projects for which the schools and organisations we work with are beneficiaries.
Submeet’s income comes mainly from projects in which Submeet itself participates directly as a partner, coordinator or organisation responsible for specific project activities.
When we work with a school that is the beneficiary of its own project, our purpose is to facilitate educational experiences, partnerships and local opportunities consistent with the mobility or project objectives.
Through relationships developed across the local ecosystem, partner organisations may also benefit from preferential terms or agreed arrangements for independent services such as accommodation, catering, transport or other operational needs. Those services are supplied and managed independently by the respective providers.
Submeet does not charge commissions on schools’ projects and does not retain any share of their Erasmus+ funding.
The value of working with Submeet lies in Educational Design, mobilising the local ecosystem, developing partnerships and enabling European cooperation—not in selling ancillary services.
Is Submeet a mobility agency?+
No. Submeet is a non-profit organisation promoting Educational Design, European cooperation and the international development of its local ecosystem.
In VET, where the project requires it, Submeet can facilitate work placements aligned with participants’ professional profiles and expected learning outcomes, connecting European schools with local businesses, professionals and organisations.
Submeet may also act directly as the host organisation, particularly where mobility is structured around project work, challenges, workshops and applied learning designed around specific competence objectives.
Where necessary, Submeet also facilitates practical arrangements and access to the local network for accommodation, catering, transport and other services required to deliver the mobility activity.
These activities do not follow the commercial model of a mobility agency. Submeet does not charge schools a commission or retain any share of their Erasmus+ funding for placements or mobility support.
Our purpose is to use European projects to generate learning, connect European organisations with the local ecosystem, develop partnerships and progressively strengthen its international dimension.
In the Submeet model, therefore, placements and logistics make mobility possible, but they are not its purpose. The purpose is educational, project-led and rooted in local development.
Which organisations do you work with?+
We work with schools, VET providers, Adult Education organisations, associations, institutions and European partners. Each pathway is shaped around the sector, the organisation’s level of international experience and the outcomes it aims to achieve.
Which educational fields do you work in?+
We work across three educational fields: Vocational Education and Training, School Education and Adult Education. These are supported by three cross-cutting areas: Teacher and Staff Training, Internationalisation and Capacity Building, and European Cooperation and Project Development.
Who retains ownership and accountability for the project?+
The beneficiary organisation always does. Submeet guides the Erasmus Team, facilitates discussion, provides method and experience, and supports implementation. Decisions, approval of the strategy, accountability and results remain with the organisation that owns the project.
Mobility and Educational Design
From need to experience and transfer.
How does a collaboration begin?+
It starts with a conversation about the organisation, the participants, an approved project or an idea to develop, the underlying needs and the expected outcomes. This provides the basis for clarifying roles, activities, timing, learning environments and next steps.
Do you offer standard packages?+
No. Experiences and interventions are built around educational objectives, participant profiles and the sending context. Established formats and expertise provide a starting point, but content, methods and activities are co-designed.
How do you select partners and learning environments?+
We assess alignment with the objectives, reliability, available expertise, clarity of responsibilities and the potential for continuity. A connection creates value when it contributes genuinely to learning and can develop into a professional relationship.
Can a mobility activity develop into lasting cooperation?+
That is one of the aims of the Submeet model. It is not automatic: it grows from the quality of the experience, reciprocity and the commitment of the organisations involved. We therefore encourage dialogue, reflection and opportunities for further development.
How are quality and outcomes assessed?+
Indicators, tools and review points are defined in relation to the objectives. Monitoring, reflection, evaluation and transfer are not final administrative tasks; they are integral parts of the educational and organisational pathway.
Training and development

Do you provide training for teachers and staff?+
Yes. We offer specialist pathways co-designed with organisations, combining concise theoretical input with workshops, case studies, collaborative work, practical outputs and follow-up. International editions use a shared working language announced in advance.
What do internationalisation and capacity building mean?+
They mean helping an organisation turn individual opportunities into shared competence, reusable procedures, distributed responsibility, reliable partnerships and greater autonomy. The pathway involves the Erasmus Team and, progressively, the wider educational and local community.
Can you support quality, impact, dissemination and communication?+
Yes. We can develop stand-alone interventions or integrate them into project implementation: quality plans, indicators, impact assessment, monitoring, internal communication, external dissemination and the effective use of project results.
Do you also support administrative and financial management?+
Yes, through training and guidance on rules, budgets, documentation, audit trails and reporting. We nevertheless keep this dimension distinct from educational and project management, while ensuring that procedures support the quality of the activities.
Can you guarantee that an Erasmus+ project will be approved?+
No. We can support analysis, project design, coherence, quality and proposal review, but assessment and approval rest exclusively with the relevant programme authorities and funding bodies.

Does Submeet manage accommodation, transport and catering?+
Submeet can facilitate access to a network of independent providers and coordinate the information required to deliver the experience. Each operator remains responsible for the service it supplies: the operational network makes mobility possible, but it is not the educational ecosystem.
What information is useful for an initial enquiry?+
The organisation and country, educational sector, project status, participant profiles and numbers, objectives, expected outcomes, indicative dates and working language. You do not need to have everything defined already: the first conversation also helps clarify the need.
Can we request references?+
Yes. On request, we can provide relevant references and identify organisations we have worked with, subject to their availability and permission to share their details.
